In detail
Exosomes are a type of small extracellular vesicle released by cells. A product described with that term may differ in source, composition, purification and intended route. It is not the same as a preparation of living cells, and a biological signalling mechanism is not proof of a clinical effect.
The clinician should explain the proposed purpose, evidence in relevant people, alternatives, material risks and the actual clinical or research setting. For HLC care, the important outcome is an informed decision about a specific option, including when the available information is insufficient to proceed.
Confirm who is responsible, what oversight applies, how consent and follow-up work and what happens if a problem develops. Research participation requires a specific protocol and eligibility assessment. A catalogue entry does not establish availability or enrolment.
