Lauren Klein is a Physician Associate with a passion for a personalized approach to medicine. Specializing in Internal Medicine and Health Optimization for over a decade, Lauren joined Healthy Longevity Clinic to further her efforts on shifting the paradigm from treating diseases to preventing them. Her proactive versus reactive approach focuses on longevity by incorporating genetics, epigenetics, biomarkers, and lifestyle factors to provide precise and individualized interventions to optimize a patients healthspan to match their lifespan.
Lauren is regularly asked to be on the faculty and present on topics at the Age Management Medicine Group (AMMG) and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) conferences. Her recent lectures have focused on weight loss, genetics, insulin resistance and preventing diabetes. Lauren has completed various certification programs including Botox for aesthetic enhancements, Dermal Fillers, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), Hormone Pellet Replacement Therapies, Medical Hair Loss Therapies, Sexual Dysfunction for Men and Women, Weight Loss Management and Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSCs) therapies (bone marrow and adipose tissue), giving her a unique and well-rounded perspective on patient care. She is certified with FibroScan to detect Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) and Cirrhosis, Morpheus and BTL aesthetic devices including EmSculpt, Emsella and Exilis. She has also been published in several national articles including: “Are you Skinny Fat?” (Shape Magazine) and “What to Know About Antidepressants Before You Think They Just Don’t Work" (NYLON Magazine).
Lauren is licensed to practice in Florida and New York and is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University.
Erik has extensive experience working in the field of personalized medicine and longevity. He played a crucial role in the development of Wild Health, a genomics-based startup that focuses on diet, exercise, sleep, stress, supplementation, and advanced blood panels.
This exposure led to great opportunities, including health coaching, training, teaching, program development, and creating resources for patients and providers to streamline workflows. After realizing that medicine was taking a turn, he started focusing on ways to further improve health outcomes and longevity using new research and advanced tools.
He believes that people deserve to feel good and enjoy their later years in life. His endless passion, experience, and willingness to help others learn about the exciting potential of longevity medicine led him to his role at HealthyLongevity.clinic. Previous work experience includes working as a Neuro ICU nurse at Mayo Clinic, personal training, and social work for at-risk youth.
